Robert Byars can be found in UNION County S.C. Spartanburg Dist. page 154, 1840. This is North of Pacolet River of the North Fork of the SAME By: T.J.Linder. Robert Byars is in the 1850 Spartanburg County Cencus, page 248, Household #2336. His wife ( Elizabeth ) is not shown, however it names his children. The 1860 Spartan.Cencus identifies Elizabeth,his wife.
The 1840 cencus also has Josh. A. Byars & Joshua Byars families. The HUMPHRIES name is listed as Umphries (sic).
This Is what is known as MORGAN SECTION of Grassy Pond.Not far from Camp's Creek & Boiling Springs,NORTH CAROLINA.
