Not only was the name spelled in so many different ways, but the people abstracted them on sights such as Ancestry sure makes it difficult also. Just when I think I am right at the point of finding proof on one of the Byars/Byas/Byers/Bias etc. and poof they are gone. Good luck and if you find Elisha's father, let us know!!
