Searching for info on Micheal Bossert b 10 Aug 1725 Buschlott, Germany. His parents were Jacob & Catherina Barbara Pfisterer Bossert. Micheal came to America via(New England/Pennsylvania 25 Sept 1751.He was listed as single. He is listed as living in Philadelphia in 1751. (Have found no record as to what happened to him between 1751-ca 1777). It is poss he may have died in the Walnut Street Gaol in Philadelphia in 1777,while held prisoner by the British. In 1778 the Patriots regained control of the Gaol and held British prisoners there. We are looking for a marriage record and a list of chrildren. Is there a list of soliders who were held at the gaol and buried there?
