My mother's Howell-Thompson family is from Jefferson Co, FL. She told me that my father's Buzbees weren't related to the Buzbees still in the Jeff Co phonebook in the middle 1960s. We just didn't go back far enough, since my father's family goes back to Orangeburg Co, too.
