I found Rufus' father...He is James Hilliard Busby. 1870 census
finds the family in Upshur Co Texas. He is married to Rebecca
Frances Bauknight. Their children include: Frances, Alexander,
Josephine, Rufus, William Walter, Josephus, John Gideon, Fletcher
and Elizabeth. Would love to find other researchers of this family
