Hi Jackie,
These are the 11 children (all Barnes)-William W.-Nancy M.-James Lawrence-George W.-Armindes-Amanda Angeline-John L.-Mary Francis-Laura and Louisa Patsy (twins, I think)-Daniel Emanuel.
Listed on the Crawford County, Ga. marriages (formed from Houston Co., Ga. 1822) a listing for Cooper, Nancy married Buzbee, William on Feb. 17, 1835 appears.
James Lawrence Barnes (listed above) married Elizabeth Buzbee (daughter-Lawrence Buzbee&Caroline Laney) in 1884 in Hillsborough County and then married again, Susannah Stephens. The Lon Barnes name is very familar also and I believe it to be in the same family. I'll see what I can find out. I'm almost sure I heard my mother talk about an Uncle Lon.
