Joseph and Louisa Buxton m. abt. 1870

I am looking for information on Louisa and Joseph Buxton of New Brunswick, Maine (according to the 1880 United States Census). Louisa, age 28, was married to Joseph Buxton, age 43. They also had a son named John David Buxton who was 8 years old at the time of the census. They were listed as farmer and housewife in the household record of the census. I have the names and ages of Louisa's parents and two siblings but know nothing of Joseph except that he was born in England, according to a copy of a record of death that I have for Joseph. I can't read the writing well...it looks like he died at the age of 65 on Mar.1, 1912? I received an email years ago that said he was listed as a servant in a census (I don't know which one) and that he was born in 1847 in Woodville, Lancastershire, England and that he was divorced from Louisa London and remarried a Sarah or Sadie Green. That email also listed his death as March 1, 1912 in Bridgewater, Maine. I would love to trace the Buxton family back past Joseph, but I have no idea what his father or mother's first names or date/place of birth might be...any info would be greatly appreciated!
