Hi Joshua:

On ancestry.com they list the parents of Earl Buxton as David Buxton and Content Horton, both from Massachuesetts. It did not list the source of this information, but I feel it is correct. Content was listed in a census record if I recall correctly in the household of Earl Buxton. I am interested in Earl's wife Mary Ann Shoemaker. She is the sister of my ancestor Christopher Shoemaker. I would like to find out where she is buried. Earl is buried at Homer, Ohio, but I don't know if she is there. If you run across any information on her please let me know. A family history on the Shoemakers is listed in Licking County Records, but it has some serious mistakes in it. I have just submitted an updated group sheet for the family on the Usgenweb family group sheet project which should be up shortly.

Sincerely,

John Burnett
Reno, NV
