thomas allmand buxton, son of james and jane allmand buxton was born in 1798.as a young man,he came to nc where he married [18 nov 1823] mildred perry,the dauger of john and dorothy evans perry.mildred was born in 1808.he bought land and made his home on what is now highway1333 about four miles east of seaboard,nc [about 2 miles from me]a cemetery where thomas and mildred buxton were buried is located near the spot where ther home stood.thomas died in 1856. in 1872 fire destroyed the house,milderd was blind died in the fire. the children of thomas and mildred were william t (BILLY), edwin w., dorothy frances, susannah, martha, samuel n,.dorothy frances is my gg grandmouther she m. james white (5 apr 1849).
