Well I'm learning things quickly on this family! Since 2 hours ago when I posted the message to you I have learned that Clement Buxton's wife was Elizabeth Ferry (Ferret) b. Feb. 11, 1681/2 in Springfield, Hampden, MA. Clement Buxton was one of the founders of Stamford CT I also discovered. Clement and Elizabeth had the following children: Mercy, John, Charles, Samuel, Sarah, Mary, Gershom, Solomon, Elizabeth (our ancestor) and another Solomon (first one died young).
I have dates and spouses etc. on some of them now but need to get it organized into my familytreemaker program before I can send it on to you.
Elizabeth Ferry's parents were Charles Ferry (Ferret) and Sarah Harmon. Charles Ferry's parents were Jean/Jan Ferret and Catherine Lodisoir/Lodisou. Sarah Harmon's parents were John Harmon and Elizabeth Cummins. John Harmon's parents were Francis Harmon and Elizabeth (also Cummins?) I have some other children of these various people as well but need to sort it all out - very new discoveries as yet to me....but wanted to let you know.
