Hi Ray,
With whom is your connection with this Louisiana Buxton family? Yes, I was raised in Silsbee and now live in Lumberton. My phone # is 755-1834. When does your Buxton's get together every year and where? My Mom's immediate family get together every year, usually in October or November. There's not many of them left.
Have you been doing genealogy very long? How far have you gone back, and which branch of the tree are you researching. I am primarily researching Valentine Buxton's line; my grandfather Tom Foley Buxton came from this line and thus my mother Geraldine (Jerry) Buxton Webb. There is one mystery in this line that I have been unable to break and that is of Duriman "Dew" Buxton. It appears he was raised by Valentine, but was to old to be a son. Would you happen to have any info on him?
I would like to talk to you sometime and will give you a call, or you can call me any evening, I work during the day.
