Looking for the children of John O.K. Buxton
by his wife Sarah. I have two possible candidates..Stephen Allen and Nathaniel W. each born in the early 1820's. Was Stephen G. brother to John O.K.? as he is listed in records of White County, Tennessee. My Stephen A. was head of family in the 1840 census (White Co.). Stephen A. and Nathaniel resided since the 1850's in the Washington/Iron Counties of Missouri. Stephen G. is listed in Bollinger Co. Missouri. In the later censuses, S & N show their birth places as Virginia and or Tennessee. Also, have the pension papers of John O.K, which indicates that he abandoned his second family and did end up in Benton Co. Arkansas. He is listed in the 1870 census there with a son.
