The pages I have here are pictures that I found in my grandmothers old photo album. They are pictures of her friends when she was Civilian Secretary to General John J. Pershing during WW1.
I am putting these pictures on here in case there is anyone out there that just might be able to find an ancestor. All these pictures will only cost you a minimal fee of a self addressed envelope or a photo mailer. IF a photo mailer is required I will state that by the picture. Otherwise only self addressed stamped envelope will be necessary.
These pictures are PRICELESS and very old and fragile.
Some of these photos have writing on the back, but because of the photo album paper I did not want to try to scratch it off. I am sure you might be able to do it as the paper is very old and brittle. The writing on the pictures are original. This is the way I found them. I will place below the photo what is on the back if I can make it out.
I will have the photos listed in alphabetical order so they will be easy to find. Last names listed only. If there is not last name on the picture the first name will be there with a question{?}mark, along with the ones that don't have names on them. They will all be on a page identified as GROUPS of UNKNOWN.
The SCAN NUMBER appears just below the photo next to the name. The number is there in case anyone wishes a picture. If you do please email me or give me the SCAN NUMBER and place it in my guest book. This is the only way I know what picture you wish to have. If there is a case where more then one{1} person wants the photo, the first one gets the photo and the other will have a copy emailed to them so they can print it off. This is the fairest way I can think of doing it.
Please have a look around and see if you find anyone. I sure hope you do because I really don't want to throw them away.
