I have found age errors in other research on my family so it wouldn't surprise me about the ages being a difference.
Also, I have found the same with parents birthplaces and sometimes they change from one census to another.
The other researcher I was in contact with was Vickie Foriest. Her relation was through marriage. I believe her husband's grgrandfather was a brother to Mary F.
Mary was born in March 1871 TN (possibly DeKalb since they were there in 1870) She and Robert E (Thurman) Owens(b June 1868 TN d 1953) were married about 1887. She died 1910 and is buried in Mt Zion Cemetery, Fairview, TN.
Their children were:
Robert P b Sept 1889
Samuel M b Nov 1890
William L b Jan 1893
John L b July 1899 (1910 census listed as Leonard J age 10)
I have stopped researching Owens line for the time since Robert was shown as Robert THurman 1870 census but the rest of census listed as Owens. I am assuming the family took in Robert and he used the last name or was adopted. That is why I have Thurman on his name also.
Yes, I would like to have William Cicero's line of descendants. Sometimes 2 heads are better than one trying to figure out things.
Vickie Foriest hasn't posted in a long time and the email addresses I had for her don't work. She physically went to the cemetery and also talked to someone there who was in the Sullivan family which connects to the Owens line in Williamson. My husbands grandfather was married to a Sullivan (this was several years back).
