Mike,
Since posting my last followup,I have come across information you requested on, Jedediah Button. He was the son of Peter Button and his 2nd wife,Mary Lamphere. Peter was born July 17,1660, Haverhill, Essex Co., Mass., and died in 1726, Westerly, R.I. He and Mary were married in 1696. Jedediah's siblings were:
Samuel, Cyrus, Joseph,and Elizabeth. Also by Peter's 1st marriage to Sarah Crandall: Peter, Mary, Matthias, and Eliphall. Peter's parents were, Matthias Button and Ann (Tagall)Teagle.
