We are related only through marrage to Button Gwinnett. The connection is below:

Admiral Sir Thomas Button = Elizabeth Rice
Miles B = Barbara Meryric
Thomas B = Gwenllian Lewis
Robert B = Emilia Price
Daughter - Emilia B = Samuel Gwinnett
Brother of Samuel G was Button G = Anne Bourne
Father of Samuel & Button G was Rev Samuel G = Anne Emes

He was one of the fifty-six men who assembled at Philadelphia in 1776 to sign the Declaration of Independence, thus becoming one of America's immortals.

Extract from A Historical Survey of a Glamorganshire Parish:
"He became President or Governor of the State of Georgia, USA, and died at the age of 46 as a result of a duel with a General McIntosh. In this duel both were wounded, Button Gwinnett above the Knee, the bone being Broken, and the General in the leg. The later recovered but it is said that, through the lack of skill of his physacians, gangrene set in and Button Gwinnett died."
