I have just found new information and I reget that your Mary and my Mary are probably not one in the same. I have just now found that George E. and Phebe (STORMS) BROAS had a daughter Mary b. Nov. 1881 - This according to the City of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, NY 1900 Census. I think now that the Mary Ann Button that is buried in the Broas Plot MAY BE their daughter Mary that married a BUTTON. Did any of the male children of Ezra have a wife named Mary or Migrate to Dutchess County????? Thanks for the reply and for sharing. I still have more research on older census records to do on this family but will keep my eyes open for the name BUTTON as a Head of household with a wife named Mary and will keep you posted as my research progresses.
