Ann, this is the info I have on John Button. He was the third child of Capt Matthias. b 17 Mar 1754 at Canterbury CTk; d 16 Nov 1832 Schaghticoke, Rennsalaer Co, NY. He married (1st) 21 Mar 1783 Mary Ransom, born 1764 in England; died 1819 He married (2nd) 21 Mar 1821 Mary Burch, nee Lowe, born 1790; died 1872. They had 15 children.
