Hi, Ms. Kammerer,

My step-dad was Claude Delos Button, born in Little Marsh, Pa. He was born about 1888 or 1890. I believe his father was in the lumber business in or around Corning, Ny. He had two brothers, Henry and Irv (maybe Irving.), and two sisters, May, and Violet (who died young in a drowning accident. He had eight children, by his first wife, Maude Thornton, and two by with my mom, Anna Gloria Rush Button, whom he married in 1941, some years after the death of Maude. The two children he had with my mom were Rush Delos, and Mildred Claudia.

Since you have a copy of a Button Families Book, I wondered if you could give me information on my step-dad's family. I would appreciate it so much, as he was really the only father I ever knew, my real father having died when I was an infant.

Thanks so much,

Mary S Oster
