Charlotte Button born in 1857. She married James E Mummery who was born in Ashford ,Kent 1857. He was a pork butcher and they lived at 12 Forge Lane, Civil Parish Ashford( I believe).James died in 1885 of smallpox and I can find no trace of Charlotte other than her returning to Hastings and was showing an employment as a laundress.She had two children maybe 3, cannot find any trace of her or the children.Some of this info comes from the 1881 census.
I have found another James buried on the northside of Hawkinge Church, from the Parish of Folkestone showing he died April 07, 1849 at age 32.My problem is all these James's most with no middle name to trace.Any info would really be appreciated as I'm not really sure that this is the James and Charlotte that I'm try to research.
