June - this is so exciting!I've been looking and looking for this family for almost 10 years now and BOOM!You've got answers!I'm both stunned and eternally grateful.
Now, to answer your questions before I ask a few more of my own....
Charles never, ever married. He stayed single until the day he died on July 21, 1900 in Monticello, Iowa.Albert stayed single for YEARS but around 1898 married a woman named Sarah, born 1839 in Pennsylvania.I'm sorry I don't have a last name for her.The 1900 Florence, Lane County, Oregon census is the last time I can locate Albert, so I can only assume that he passed away sometime shortly thereafter.I also don't have an exact birthdate for Albert; just around 1829.
Do you have spouses or children for either of the daughters who made it to adulthood?
You mentioned a John Duncan Buttolph in your post, but I don't have him listed in my database.Who does he belong to?
Thanks so much for your help!
