Mr. Butterworth,I was so happy to find your response; I have some other information that may help in the search. She was born in Va. and married in Sumner County Tenn to Wiley E. Jones, Jr. on 1/23/1827, moved to Henry County, Conyerville,TN by 1841 and to Texas by 1853. Today, in the Nat. Arch., I found in the 1860 census, a Joseph (70) and Enotolia (69) Butterworth living in Henry County TN, whereas in 1850 they did not live there.Could these people be Elizabeth's parents and assumed the land they left behind? Both of these people were VA. at birth, as was Elizabeth. There was also a younger couple, David T.(27) and Matilda (24) and their children in Henry Co in 1860.They were bothborn in Tenn. Could there be a link among the three families?Thank you.Carlan King
