I'm almost positive it was one and the same. They are not related to me by blood, but one of their grand daughters, Martha "Mattie" Butterworth married my gr grandfather Columbus H. Allen. That would make her my step-gr grandma I guess. After her death C. H. remarried to Rachel Evelyn Lloyd and they had my grandma.

Another grandson of theirs, Columbus Franklin Butterworth married Vesta Parker, a niece of my gr. grandfather, her parents being Robert Smith Parker and Cynthia Evaline "Evie" Allen.

I have Thomas Hix and Eliabeth Beville as Parky Pride Hix's parents.
