Hello--

I'm not of Butterfield lineage, but I wrote a children's book about the founding of Naperville, IL, which includes the Lyman Butterfield family. Son George shows up mainly as one of the kids on the ship. It's called Ruth By Lake and Prairie and is easy to find on the web. I'm happy to share whatever info I have collected (not all that much, I'm afraid!) and would love any more details you'd like to pass on. Also, I'm hosting a "virtual reunion" of descendants of the original settlers on my web site if you are interested in introducing yourself there.

Kate
