While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am not related to this person, but thought I would post the obit in case it is helpful to someone.

Dr. Emma H. Butterfield Dies at 88
Tyngsboro Woman Widely Known in Greater-Lowell
TYNGSBORO - Emma H. (Robey) Butterfield, M.D., a resident of Tyngsboro for many years, died yesterday afternoon at her home on Curtis Hill, following a brief illness, aged 88 years.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur D. Butterfield. Mrs. Butterfield was born in Nashua, N.H., the daugher of the late James and Emeline (Blodgett) Robey, and following her elementary and high school training entered Boston university, receiving her doctor of medicine degree from that university.
She was a former member of the Middlesex Women's club, during her residency in Lowell years ago, attended the First Congregational church.
