Hi!

I am descended from John and Betty through their son Anthony Griffin Butler. I haven't really looked at "Betty's" Griffin Line yet as I am still concentrating on John Butler. I have a great deal of information starting with John Butler (including his RW pension application) and other paperwork for his descendants.

I still have not found his parents yet. John's grandson through Anthony G. Butler, George Ball Butler, is my 2g grandfather (I have a picture of him) . I recently corresponded with a descendant of George Ball Butler's younger brother Daniel Mangrum Butler who participated in the Butler DNA study as M0036. These results show a relationship between most of the Butlers of the VA, NC and SC region, so I think we are getting closer to breaking down the brick wall of John Butler's parentage.

Please feel free to write me at saylorscreek@aol.com to exchange more information.
