I figure I am off the mark, but I have hit a stonewall. My line goes through Aaron Butler born 1822 in South Carolina. He is in Sumter Co Al in 1840 and Attala Co Ms in 1850. He had others in the same area named Butler , Thomas, Dempsy, and Winfield.

Is there an offchance they are the same line.
