Mrs. Wm. R. Linn, who was Miss Nellie Butler of St. Charles before her marriage to the Chicago financier, died suddenly Monday night in New Mexico, at their San Gabriel ranch. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Butler, she was born in St. Charles 65 years ago. Mrs. Linn was an aunt of George Satterlee, his grandmother having been the sister of O.M. Butler. The Linn home on Sixth avenue has always been kept by the family. Mrs. Linn will be buried in Oakwood cemetery, Chicago, where the ashes of her son Dwight are interred. Mr. Linn and two daughters, Miss Mabel and Mrs. Cyrus H. McCormick, Jr., and a son, Howard, survive.
