Vicky, Thanks. This is more than I had.

I do think that is all the children they had, Melissa & Alonzo. Had no idea who Melissa had married. Have added him to my records. I will keep working on Alonzo. I had the following date for Melissa's death - 4 July 1919 in Jackson Co., Missouri. Yet the census shows her husband as a widower in 1910. Not sure what to make of that yet.

Isaac Butler is my 3rd g-grandfather. Am wondering how you connect to this complicated family. . . And what you think of Isaac's wives, Elizabeth Atterbury & Elizabeth Stewart. Would be happy to share what I have,pretty good documentation, but also interested on your thoughts re them both. There has been some confusion over the two.
