THIS IS ALSO A COMMENT ON BLUE RIDGE HERITAGE; Burnett, Banscome,Hylton, Cox, SLAUGHTER, and Related Families by Dorothy Burnett Peterson. She did a great job; but this was before the internet. WHERE SHE GOT THE INFO THAT "ALLICE BUTLER WAS A <DANDRIDGE> UNKNOWN. AND NOT SUBSTANTIATED... as for the Rhodes attached to the postings on genforum and worldconnect... that too is both unsubstantiated and unknown... her maiden name is at this point very unknown.
