All we know about Rachel is what we put on the last message. They ended up in Greenbyier Co. WV my Grandpa James and his brother Andrew Butler lived there and still have Kin living there.James was borned in 1867 after George if its the same Rachel, she was borned in kanawha Co. and lived in Gilmer, Roane,Braxton and webster the 1880 census she was in Clay Co. as a housekeeper for the Starcher family and James as a laborer.
Francis butler lived in webster co on his tombstone his name is William francis he is buried iwhere James and Rachel are buried in eguria WV in the Agee cementery.
Always heard she was never married but had 5 kids.
there is a place in Greenbrier, called Butler but have never been there.
