My Great, Great Grandfather was William Butcher who died March 12, 1882 in Warrick County, Indiana and is buried at Barnett Chapel Cemetery in Warrick County. his grave stone said that he was 77 years old when he died. His wife's stone said that she was born in England and there daughter, my Great Grandmother was born in Cambridge shire, England on September 12, 1834. I don't know if there is any conection to your William Butcher.
