It is good to find the Henry and Thomas des. of GA. I have wondered often if they are related to my Butcher family in GA. In 1840 my gg-grandfather Bartrum Butcher and a Thomas Butcher are in Lee County, GA. They are numerated one after the other. I do not know this Thomas Butcher. Is he related to your Butcher family? Bartrum married in Lee County and moved to Al where 4 children were born. I don't know where in Alabama because they had moved to Walton,Fl by the 1850 census. I believe the parents of Bartrum Butcher to be Thomas and Penelope Butcher of Robeson Co, NC. According to the website of Robeson Co, NC a number of families of Robeson mirigated together to Al. They listed the County, but unfortunately I can't find it at the moment. Look forward to hearing from you. Thx.
