There is a Henry P. Butcher in my family tree. He would be my g-g-grandfather. My cousin sent me copies a document that has information on the Butcher Family. The paper that was used has embossed "West Eng". Some of the information written is Henry P. Butcher born December 12, 1797 born in N.C. d.o.d. 4/4/1864. Married Martha Wilkins Dec. 10, 1820, married second wife Elizabeth Wilkins July 4, 1827. Elizabeth, his second wife, had a son John Taylor Butcher born September 23, 1848 in Tusculoosa, Alabama who is my g-grandfather who married Mary Stroope in Hempstead, Arkansas. E.Jennifer Dodds
