James Butcher , b. 1774, Va. m. Martha Clark, b. 1776, 1794 Bourbon County, Ky. Children: Elizabeth (1797), William (1798), Samuel (1798 ?), Sarah (1800), George (1802), Hannah (1804), John (1805), Phoebe (1808), Anna(1812).All children born in Montgomery County, Ky.
There is a James Butcher in Putnam County, In. 1850 census, c.a. 36 (1814), born in Kentucky. M. Elizabeth Rambo, where and when unknown. Could he be the s/o James and Martha?? A lot of James and Martha's family were in Putnam County.This is my husband's great great grandfather. Information would be greatly appreciated.
