I, too, am researching the BUTCHER name in Surrey - Wonersh, Putney, London area. There is a wealth of information available on them. Are you still looking? My BUTCHERS are Ggggrandfather, John,m. Mary, Gggrandfather, William Butcher, m. Charlotte Killick in Wonersh, Ggrandfather, William Henry, m. Eliza - haven't found her maiden name yet, or where they were married. Grandmother is Louisa (BUTCHER) LEWIS, came to Canada in 1902/03 and married my grandfather, William Henry Lewis in 1904 in Alberta.
