do the spellings all mean the same?
I would like for some Burcher researcher to help me do
some researching. I have a lot of info after they left Delaware, and came to Ohio. I am called Butcher, by the locals
Some of the early records in Virginia have it spelled Boucher.
I know Boucher, and Butcher mean meat processor, or the German, Metzger,Did the English add the "R", or was it already
as spelled?
Some say they migrated from Virginia to Delaware, with a few in Penn. I have read some of the ship's listings, and
the" Burchers", about all came with the English ships
