Did Thomas Butcher die in England or in Virginia?
He was of Wadhurst, Sussex, England. His wife was,
Mary... She was Admx of his estate with her 2nd husband,
Henry Dike, born in 1602 in Sussex, and came to
Virginia, in 1635, age 33. Mary died in 1651 and Henry
became to full Administrator of the Butcher estate.
Thomas Butcher had a sister who was the wife of Capt.
William Swanne who was mentioned in the estate.
