I'm looking for information of a Butcher in his early years went by Elmer. His mother Docie [Brummett] Butcher died very young in 1911 in Macon Co., TN. Elmer was only a year or two his-self when she died. His father Wm Jackson Butcher son of James Roland and Mary E. [Hale] Butcher, married two or three more times after Docie. Elmers oldest brother James Gaston Butcher went to Indianapolis, IN. I'm told Elmer remarried and followed to IN. Elmers 1st wife was Lola [Dyer] whom he married in 1930 in Trousdale Co., TN. They had 1 child I know of named Charles William Butcher who married Dorothy Mae [Beasley] in Sumner Co., TN. Charlie and Dorothy are buried in said county. Charlies mother Lola remarried in 1940 to Arlis Smith in Sumner Co., TN.
I'm told Elmer was a volunteer policeman or city policeman in the Beech Grove area in Indiana. He was living when his brother James Gaston Butcher died in 1977 I'm told.
