I have researched this through the census, marriage of James Roland Butcher and Mary E. [Hale], and their childrens death certificates. Yes, it shows that Roland is the son of Joshua "Josh" Butcher & Allaminto/ Alamita/ Allie M. [Gann]. Josh died 18 Feb 1910 Macon Co., TN, age 74 of heart trouble.. Josh and Alamita's daughter Sarah married Chesley Gregory. Sarahs daughter Pearl [Gregory] was married to James D. McMurry. Most of these Butchers are buried at Nelson McDonalds Cemetery in Macon Co., TN! Roland and Mary E. were married in Dekalb Co., TN.....
