Trying to locate the parents of Melvin Butcher, b. July 1875 in WV (prob. Logan or Mingo). I believe he must connect to the James Butcher/Sarah Dingess family somehow.
Melvin married my Gr-Grandfather's sister Octavia Stafford [d/o John Ferrell Stafford & Perlina McCoy]. Need more info on ancestors and descendants.
