Hi James -
Here's what I have on George Washington Butcher's death info:

Died 28 October 1908 at Sweetwater, Roger Mills Co., Oklahoma and his wife Jane Clemintine Adams died there also
9 Dec 1927.

The children are:

Nancy Emeline Butcher died 9 Apr 1942 at Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma

Norman Eugene Butcher who died 22 Nov 1879 at Eden, Benton County, Iowa

David A. Butcher who died 4 Mar 1892 at Snoqualmie River, King County, Washington

Nora Ruth Butcher who died 20 Jan 1955 at Torrance, Los Angeles County, California

Carl Claude Butcher who died 5 May 1963 at French Camp, San Joaquin County, California

Sorry, I don't have any burial information on these folks.

My line goes from John Butcher (1725?-1778) Loudon, VA to
William Butcher (1750-1800) VA to Isaac Butcher, Sr. (1784-1845) Loudon Co., VA to Wayne Co., IL to Irvine Butcher (1818-1876) TN to Scottsville, Macoupin Co., IL to John Wesley Butcher (1841-1892) Maury Co., TN to Blooming Grove,
Macoupin Co., IL to Charles Monroe Butcher (1876-1953) Macoupin Co., IL to Waverly, Morgan Co., IL to Thelma Elizabeth Butcher (1897-1962) Jacksonville, Morgan Co., IL to Chicago, Cook Co., IL

Looks like your line follows John & William but follows William's son John Butcher, Sr. (1778-1864) Loudon Co, VA to Pittsylvania Co., VA to John Butcher, Jr., (1813-1886) VA to North Danville, VA to George Washington Butcher (1850-1908) Union, Madison Co., OH to Sweetwater, OK.

Most of the above was gleaned from Ancestery.com sources so consider it a possible sketch I can vouch for the John Wesley Butchers who are buried at the Cherry Cemetery east
of Palmyra, Macoupin Co., IL; the Charles Monroe Butchers who I believe are buried at Palmyra Cemetery (or possibly at Waverly East Cemetery in Morgan Co., and Thelma Elizabeth Butcher Baldwin is buried Cedar Park Cemetery, Calumet Park, Illinois.

Good luck - hope this helps some.
