There were two John W Butcher born in ohio during 1828 and 1829, we must keep in mind that records are often times off by as much as five years. The information that I have John W Butcher born Ohio 1829 Died Iowa date of death needs to be researched, burial Conesville cemetery Muscatine County Iowa, Father Andrew Butcher, Mother Rebecca Sounders Grandparents were Adam Butcher and Catherine James. The other John Butcher I have very little information on this john butcher although they are both from the George Valentine Metzger/Butcher line from Virginia. I do have some information on this line if your interested.
