My gg grandfather was chr. Nov 1837 in Poolesville, Montgomery County Maryland. First wife Keziah Frances Oden married in 1859 in Poolesville. She is the daughter of Alfred and Rachel Oden and Kiziah died between 1863-1870 in Poolesville. They had two sons -William Thomas Butcher 1861 and Marion Francis Butcher born Nov 1873 in Poolesville and is my line.
Thomas Henry aka Henry aka Henry Thomas Butcher was married second to a Mary C. Married for 30 years. Henry was an ag lab and a blacksmith by trade, living in Poolesville as a young man then later in Germantown and then Catoctin, Frederick Maryland. He died 23 Nov 1907 in Cavetown and was buried in Ellerton per the obituary.
Anyone working on this line? And my next question is- what cemeteries are tehre in Ellerton? Is St John's Luthern the only one? How do I get a lsit of who is buried there? I am interested if there are other Butchers and Odens buried there also.
