Definitely fits what we'd discovered already. We'll be contacting some of the researchers and seeing how it all fits together.

Hope other people researching their Butcher roots check out familytreemaker. One of the researchers claims to have over 8000 entries in their database.

Butcher line starts in 1645 with a Johann Jacob Metzer and balloons from there. Suspect this will be a great source for many people with Metzer/Butcher ancestory.
