The Butcher side of my family tree goes through George Washington
Butcher, a prominent railroad man in San Antonio, to Dr. John Charles
Butcher, a physician who died in Harrisburg, Texas (Houston) in 1867.
I think John Charles came to Texas from the east coast. Any information
on him or his kin would be appreciated.
