Reply to Mark Hadley;

Dear Mark,
My information comes from an extensive search by
Billy Gene Lee titled "LEES AND RELATED FAMILIES
OF SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI 1700-1995".
I have not heard from him lately but his address
is 102 George Drive
Warner Robins, Geargia 31093
Phone: 912-922-0721
On page 297 there is a chapter II on Luminda Beaube Cook Family. It is stated that Luminda Beaube was the 2nd child of Susan Butcher and Jacques Beaube, born 1812 or 1813.
"but found in Book B on page 67 of the Marriage Records of Jefferson County, is a marriage bond for Luminda Baubee{Beaube}and Napoleon Cook dated July 25, 1833.No children from this marriage are found in later census records. Lee believes this marriage was brief.
She appears again in the census of 1850 as having two sons who as you know were James B. Seymore B. March 1844, m. Dec.29,1869 to Nancy F. Lee. James died before the census of 1900 according to Billy Lee.
The other son was Washington Seymore B. 1849 died before the census of 1900. His wife was Nancy McIntyre b. May 1847.
If you could get the book mentioned above, it would truly be interesting if you are tracing your family.
