Just a note to say Hello

My wife, Margie (Seymour) Hadley is a descendant of Jacques Beaube and Susan Butcher, by their daughter LUMINDA BEAUBE. Sure wish I could find the father of Luminda's SEYMOUR/SEYMORE children. I have a photo of James Seymore (Luminda's son & my wife's g-grandfather). He served in Co G, 23rd LA & MISS Cavalry, CSA. That unit was surrendured at the end of the war at Citronelle, Alabama. According to a family story, he and his unit were sent to Vicksburg, MS to turn in all flags and weapons. James told of passing by in a great line to throw all weapons onto a great pile on the ground; flags went in a pile next to the guns. Well, let me hear from you sometime.

Mark Hadley, Sterlington, Louisiana
