Do you have any further information on James Butcher's children? I have a George Butcher in my family line (d. 1/4/1860), who is said to be from KY. I don't have a birth date for this George Butcher, but 1802 would make his age around 23 when Manerva Butcher (my 3x great grandmother) was born.

My George Butcher settled in Jackson Co. Illinois. Do not have his wife's name, but did post his children in previous post.
