I have copies of the pages I told you of. It actually starts on pg 144 but here is an excerpt starting from pg 146 and continues to 147:

The interchanging of the surnames of Gonzalez de la Rosa and Bustos suggests that Antonio Gonzalez de la Rosa was related to the Bustos family. He and Joaquina Gonzalez de la Rosa Bustos and were possibly siblings. Josefa de Ontiveros could have been married to a Gonzalez de la Rosa man, or perhaps fostered his children out of wedlock. At this time there is no account of Josefa de Ontiveros having been married.

Jose (Juan)Manuel Gonzalez Bustos, b.ca. 1732, also belongs to this family. He could have been a son of Juan Andres Gonzalez and Antonia Bustos Ontiveros, or perhaps a younger son of Josefa de Ontiveros, or even a child of one of the other Gonzalez Bustos males. Juan Manuel was married on July 21, 1755 at San Juan New Mexico, to Teresa Loreto Casillas, b.ca.1735-d. March 29, 1806, Plaza de San Antonio, San Juan, New Mexico. As Jose Manuel de la Rosa and Teresa del Loreto they were padrinos for a child of Jose Sanchez and Isabel Fresquis baptized at San Juan on May 4, 1758. The 1790 Census of San Juan lists this couple as Juan Gonzalez, mestizo, age 58 and Teresa Casillas, espanola, age 56. In their household they had two sons, ages 5 and 4, and three daughters ages 24,16,and 12. Immediately following this couple was Juan Cristobal Gonzalez, age 26, and presumably a son of the above couple, listed with wife,Paula Martin, age 22.

Now I am going to skip a a paragraph due to the fact that is lists different chilren and other lines that do not directly affect my line at this moment but are still important none the less.

Additional children of Jose Manuel Gonzalez Bustos and Teresa del Loreto Casillas appear to have been:

Juan Cristobal Gonzalez,mestizo,b.ca.1764,md Paula Martin, b.ca.1768. Known children, all baptized at San Juan New Mexico:
1.Maria Barbara Gonzalez,December 17, 1786 (My great X3 aunt)
2.Maria Santa Ana Gonzalez, bt. February 14, 1789.(My great X3 aunt)
3.Maria Francisca Gonzalez, bt January 30, 1791 (My great X3 Aunt)
4. Juan Pablo Gonzalez (My great X3 Grandfather)
bt. January 26, 1793
5.Maria Josefa Gonzalez, bt June 14, 1795 (My great X3 Aunt)
6.Maria de Los Angeles Bustos, bt August 5, 1798 (My great X3 Aunt)
7.Pedro Antonio Gonzalez, bt December 24, 1800 (My great X3 Uncle)
8. Jose Ramon Bustos, bt July 10, 1803 (My great X3 Uncle)

Juan Pablo Gonzalez married Maria Ysidora Mestas and they had children. One of them being Maria Catalina Gonzalez (My great great grandmother)

She in turn had children or at least one child, my great grandfather Pedro Albino Goznalez.

Pedro Married Maria Isabel Lucero(My great grandmother) who was presumably, according to some family members to be of 3/4 native american decent. But I have not confirmed that yet. They had a number of children and one of them was my grandfather Carlos Eufemio Gonzales who married my grandmother Maria Jaunita Jaramillo. They had my dad, John Orlando Gonzales 3rd and his brother and sister.

I thought that I had a film number for this but it was attained at the "International Genealogical Index" Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. The only difference between the church info and the book info is that the church info leaves out the two Bustos children as opposed to the book that lists them with the others. So they are two relatives that I didn't even know I had until I saw the book.

Please drop me an email so that we may converse more. Thanks for your response thus far, Dana
